View and Book - Recreation Drop In Schedule

NEW – you are now able to CANCEL or RESCHEDULE your bookings online. Simply log-in and find the activity listed that you want to change and proceed through the steps.

  • All bookings can be cancelled 6+hrs in advance of the class/activity start time without penalty or charges.
  • All bookings cancelled within 6hrs of the class/activity start time, will not receive a refund.
  • If you are a pass holder, we will monitor for no shows and after 3 no shows, you will be required to pay the drop in fee for any class/activity bookings for the next 7 days.

  • Activities and Classes Offered:

  • 45 minute or 1 hour time slots for lane swim, cohort lane swim (maximum 10 people), cohort leisure swim (maximum 10 people), tethered in deep water & moderate aquafit.
  • Up to 8 different dryland fitness classes including Spin, Metcom Madness, and Bootcamp (maximum 14 people for Spin & 8 for all other classes).

    What you need to know before you come:

  • Pre-booking required for all aquatic and dryland fitness classes either online (see specific activity for booking instructions) or by calling Recreation Client Services at 403-938-8954.
  • 7 day in advance pre-booking available.
  • Reduced Recreation Client Services hours, we encourage you to enjoy our online purchase options.
  • Change rooms are for limited access use for Aquatic patrons only. We recommend that everyone comes already dressed for your activity.
  • Please do not attend our facilities:

  • If you are feeling unwell and experiencing any of the symptoms outlined on the  COVID-19 Alberta Health Daily Checklist. 

  • If you, or anyone in your household, has returned from travel outside of Canada in the previous 14 days.
  • You or your children have attended a program or had close unprotected contact (face-to-face contact within two-meters) with someone who is ill with cough and/or fever.
  • You, or anyone in your household, has been in close unprotected contact in the past 14 days with anyone who is being investigated or confirmed to be a case of COVID-19.
  • Aquatic Schedules

    The Okotoks Recreation Centre's aquatic facility offers a variety of amenities and benefits including 4 lane x 25m leisure pool (Swindells) with tot area, 6 lane x 25m lap pool (Riley Minue), wheelchair accessible hot tub, a dry sauna, and 1m diving board, tarzan rope & inflatable toys. Also available are large change rooms, a dedicated inclusive change room, viewing areas, and easy access stairs and portable chair lifts.

    Fitness Centre and Fitness Class Schedules

    Everything you've ever wanted in a fitness facility. Under ONE roof. For ONE price. In partnership with Natural High Fitness, the Recreation Centre houses a state-of-the-art fitness facility that is open seven days per week and offers over 20 drop in fitness classes each week.

    Gymnasium Schedule

    The gymnasium at the Okotoks Recreation Centre has 6,076 square feet of hard court available for drop in activities.

    Skating and Shinny Schedules

    Leisure skating and shinny drop in offered at either Pason Centennial Arenas or the Okotoks Recreation Centre. CSA approved helmets are required for skaters/non skaters on the ice.

    Walking Track Schedule

    Walk, jog, or stroll on the 2 lane track that is available to use free of charge 7 days a week when the facility is OPEN. Please share and respect others who are using the facility. Enjoy and have fun!

    Youth Centre Schedule

    Welcome to the Okotoks Youth Centre (OYC), a youth-friendly facility for youth aged 12-18 (teens aged 18 are welcome until they graduate Grade 12). The youth centre is located on the lower level of the Okotoks Recreation Centre, adjacent to the skate park. It has been equipped specifically for youth with a TV lounge that has a flat screen TV with a PlayStation 4 gaming console, a pool table, air hockey table, movie nights, a homework area with computers and workstations, and a multi-purpose area for games, programs, and activities. The OYC is a safe environment and is supervised by trained, responsible staff on-site during all operational hours.
