Yin and Restore Yoga - This is a relaxing and meditative class that combines the deep stretching of yin yoga with the meditative and renewing aspects of restorative yoga. Restorative yoga is a gentle, slow still style of yoga that involves long, passive holds. Yogis are often supported by props to enhance or deepen their experience and achieve a state of total relaxation and release. (Participants are encouraged to bring their own bolster to this yoga class) Restorative yoga helps balance the mind and body, relieve tension and anxiety, improve the immune system, stretch deep fascia, increase flexibility and pave the way for meditation.
