Town of Okotoks and Foothills County residents are eligible for 7 days priority registration.

The Recreation Client Services team must validate residency prior to registration. Please allow up to 3 days for validation, so update your account with new family members well before you plan to register for a program or lesson.

You must be logged into your ActiveOkotoks account prior to reviewing the program details for the system to determine resident eligibility.

If are logged into your account, a resident, and do not see your family members available to be registered when you select "Details" for a program or lesson, please call the Recreation Client Services Team at 403-938-8954.

Tip: To select multiple courses, please hold the "Ctrl" key while selecting other options. If you are not finding the course you want, try narrowing your search results or entering the course ID found in the activity guide.

Day Camps


Summer Day Camp registration opens May 20 at 8 am for residents of the Town of Okotoks and Foothills County, and May 27 at 8 am for non-residents.

Camp Notes

The Town of Okotoks aims to provide a nut-free camp environment. NO NUT products at camp please!

  • All options include inside and outside time, games, and creative activities. Please dress appropriately!
  • Meet at the Okotoks Recreation Centre Curling Rink entrance.
  • Please send your child with a refillable drink container every day.

Day Camp Schedule

  • Camps will begin at 9:00 am and end at 4:00 pm
  • Drop off time will be from 8:00 am – 9:00 am and pick up time will be from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
  • Late pickups after 5:00 pm will incur charges of $1.00/ minute, per child, payable at Client Services prior to picking up your children.

Consent Form

An online Informed Consent and Emergency Contact form must be completed for all day camp registrants. The form must be completed before the first day of camp. Children who do not have a signed form on file are not permitted to attend day camp programs. Please contact Community Programs at 403-995-2789 or EMAIL if you have any questions or concerns.

Children with Special Needs/ Aides

Our camps provide an opportunity to challenge and develop skills, increase self-confidence, and enhance community inclusion while creating awareness and acceptance of different abilities. If you require an aide please contact Community Programs at 403-995-2789 or EMAIL prior to registration.
