Swimmer 1 is for beginner swimmers over the age of 6. Participants will start to develop Swim to Survive Skills by learning floats, glides, safe entries, safe exits, submersion and breath control. They will explore jumping into deep water as well as surface support in deep water while wearing a PFD. Swimmer 2 participants are introduced to front crawl, back crawl, vertical whip kick and interval training. These swimmers will develop a good foundation for independent deep water activities.
